How To Use A Multiplication Chart
3 Ways To Find Facts When You Don't Have Them Memorized
Does your child struggle with memorizing multiplication facts? Does this slow him/her down when trying to learn new mathematical processes like multi-digit multiplication and division?
I see this all the time in my classroom. Students don't quite have all their facts memorized so they struggle learning other processes where facts are needed. While I definitely want all students to memorize their facts, they need a tool so that they can concentrate on learning the traditional algorithms of multiplication and division. That is why I teach all my students how to use a multiplication chart. This prevents multiplication facts from being the obstacle blocking their path to multiplication and division success.
In this mini-course, your child will learn 3 easy ways to use a multiplication chart to quickly find the facts that they don't quite have memorized.

My absolute favorite subject in the world is math, and it is my opinion that everyone can be good at it. I have taught math for 23 of the 25 years that I have been in the classroom. I started Book and Crown as a way to help students master math skills at home because I'd like every student to feel more confident in their math class. Let's do this!
